Dr. W. Parker Westbrook
Dr. W. Parker Westbrook was born and raised in Albany and graduated from Westover High School in 1976. He received his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Georgia in 1979. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1983 from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry.
Dr. Westbrook has received the prestigious Honorable Fellow Award from the Georgia Dental Association and has been named a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Dentists. He is a former member of the Peer Review Committee and presently serves on the Georgia Dental Association’s Insurance Services Board.
In the community, Dr. Westbrook is an active member of the Rotary Club of Camilla (Past President) where he is a Will Watt Fellow and a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a member of the Camilla Chamber of Commerce. He is also a former board member the Boys and Girls Club of Mitchell County and of Westwood Schools. He continues to support Westwood School. He is a sponsor of the Mitchell County Pro/Am Tennis Tournament. The tennis benefit is held every year in Camilla providing funds for Mithell-
Baker Service Center, the Boys and Girls Club of Mitchell County, Mitchell County Food Bank and other local charities.
Dr. Westbrook lives in Camilla with his wife, Barbara. They have three daughters: Banks and Mary Parker who live in Atlanta and Coley and her husband Christian Carlisle who live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Westbrook was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Camilla serving as Senior Warden, Junior Warden and treasurer until its closing. Dr. Westbrook and Barbara presently attend Camilla United
Methodist Church.
Dr. Westbrook enjoys living on the farm, managing timber and quail habitat. He also enjoys fishing, golfing and UGA football.
